- Find
reports/alarms from weeks or months ago in seconds rather
than hours
- Analyse
your information with tools such as Frequency
Analysis.
- Export
the information to other applications such as Excel
or Access.
- Back
up
important information on-line to optical disk or a networked
drive to avoid storing mountains of paper.
- Client
server design allows Remote Access to IMAC
over a network or by a telephone using a modem.
- Fully
compatible with Honeywell TDC systems.
- IMAC
can Sort Data, which can be a mixture of alarms and reports in a single
data stream into alarms
in one window and reports in another.
- Trigger
words such as 'tripped' can be used to highlight Important
Alarms in to high, medium, or low priority
by displaying them in different colours.
- IMAC
can capture data sent to Networked Logical Printers, straight
off the LAN.
- IMAC
can alert the presence of an alarm by Telephone, Paging Systems. SMS, and Voice Announcement.
- IMAC
can send Email upon receipt of a specific alarm
or email automated reports generated by the system.
- Log
the time between specific messages.
- Replace
terminals or Console Printers.
- Different
user levels expand or reduce options as required.
- IMAC
can support up to four monitors displaying different screens
simultaneously.
- Information
can be Printed Automatically or on demand, to a printer or disk file.

print Screen Dumps.
IMAC
Search Utility
IMAC's powerful search functions allow you to find information
from weeks or months ago in seconds. Search using SQL scripting
language, although no knowledge of SQL is required to use
the search function. You simply enter the search parameters
into the query form and IMAC does the rest. However with
a little knowledge of SQL, IMAC will allow you to create
powerful sophisticated SQL search scripts.
IMAC
can search for specific items between times and dates. IMAC
can use its own time and date stamp for this or it can use
the time and date from the DCS.
Real
Time SQL Query Builder
The newly added Real Time Query Builder allows you to generate
SQL based searches which automatically update in real time.
With this you can see all the alarms which occurred over
the last, say 12 hours, instantly on the screen without
having to click a button.

Remote
Access to IMAC
The
IMAC Server Software logs data to the hard disk, the IMAC
Client software is the viewing package which allows you
to see the data. If an IMAC system is connected to a LAN
then any number of clients can be set to view the data remotely
over the network. Each client operates independently so
each client can perform its own searching and printing etc.

IMAC
can also be accessed via a modem from any location. This
means that an engineer with a laptop can log into IMAC when
away from the control room or plant LAN.

Screen
Dumps
IMAC can be
set to automatically detect and print screen dumps sent
from the DCS.
Honeywell screen dumps appear as pictures on the IMAC screen.
Screen dumps from other DCS's can be trapped and sent automatically
to a printer.

Honeywell Compatibility and Screen Dumps
IMAC
is fully compatible with Honeywell, TDC and GUS systems.
The IMAC System is a direct replacement for Honeywell Bull
printers.
IMAC can accept screen dumps from the Honeywell system and
display them as a picture on the IMAC screen. It can then
be printed automatically or on demand to any windows supported
printer connected to IMAC.
This
means that your screen dumps are printed by a top quality
laser or ink jet printer rather than a poor quality dot
matrix printer.
Automatically
print to printer or file
IMAC
can be set to recognize a report or screen dump and automatically
send it to a printer for a hard copy, or to a file. The
file can be local or anywhere on a network.

Sort
Data
IMAC
can be sent to move alarms from one window to another based
on trigger words or characters. This means that for example
all the high priority alarms can be moved or copied into
a separate window. Blank lines can be removed - useful for
Foxboro systems. Alarms which appear on 2 lines can be joined
together into a single line - useful for Foxboro systems.

Priority
alarms
IMAC
can be set to look for trigger words or characters. When
one of these is detected, IMAC will display the alarm in
a different colour. Four colours are available for High,
Medium, Low and Reset Alarms.
